iPoland is a grassroots initiative of Poles concerned over falsifications of Polish history, whitewashing the Nazi-German war crimes against the Polish nation and shifting the blame on Poles.

In the light of persistent slander of Poland in the media, distortion of Poland’s World War II history, and manipulation of international public opinion for political and legal purposes, detrimental to Poland’s national interest, the representatives of Polish diaspora organized in November 2019 in co-operation with Polish historians an international historical conference “Poland First to Fight” in Washington, DC, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.

In the future we plan to organize a series of events presenting Poland’s tragic yet fascinating Second World War history, unknown to many, often absent from historical publications, and too often badly distorted. Our main goal is to dispel existing misconceptions and falsehoods concerning the subject matter.

At the current stage, the initiators of the iPoland project are still fine-tuning the future activites.
